My girls are my world! Although I write about the struggles with my “threenager” and how at times my girls can push me to my wits’ end, I truly can’t imagine my life without them! Everyday I wake up excited to have our morning snuggles and see where the day takes us. Sometimes it’s to dance class and sometimes it’s to the splash pad. No matter what we’re doing, we’re always having fun! (OK, most of the time we are having fun.) I love these girls more than anything and am truly blessed to be their Mom.
Kailey, my oldest, is my bestbud! We do everything together. She is a social butterfly, sweet and affectionate, and is the best little sous chef baker ever! She currently wants to help me in everything I do and constantly be by my side and I wouldn’t want it any other way! She loves to perform and put on shows for anyone who is willing to watch. She truly is such a ham! Alyssa, my youngest, is my little snuggle bug. She loves to snuggle, laugh and explore everything new to her. She runs up to me with open arms yelling “Up, mama, up!”, just so she can give me a cuddle, then she’s on the move again. I’m really going to miss that one day! She loves shoes, especially sparkly ones and likes to try on several different pairs throughout the day. They are both true girly girls who love all things pink and hate being dirty! Hmmm…wonder where they got that from?!
One of the best things about my girls is that they adore each other! Although they are both independent and like to explore the world in their own way, they also love playing together. Some of my favorite times are when I catch them in a snuggle, playing together, or Kailey teaching Alyssa life lessons. These moments melt my heart. These two are so darn cute together and I am hoping they have a special bond that lasts a lifetime!
My whole life when I though about having kids, I always thought I wanted boys. I never imagined just how much fun I would have with girls! These two little beauties have rocked my world. They have taught me so much about myself and living life to the fullest. They have made me courageous, taught me to laugh at myself and to stand up for what I believe in. I absolutely love being their Mom and adore everything about them! Here’s to many more years of dance parties, dress up, doing nails, shopping and all things girly! I am excited to see what the future has in store for them and am proud to be their Mom.
