Chocolate bowls? Umm, yes please! These Chocolate Sprinkle Bowls are great to use for ice cream sundaes, to hold cookies or candies, to eat cereal, I mean the options are endless. They are super easy to make and fun to eat! They are great to make for parties, playdates or just for fun. Whatever you make them for, I promise they will be a big hit for both the kids and adults!
This recipe will make 6 medium sized bowls.
What you need:
- 6 balloons
- 2 large containers of sprinkles
- 2 – 24 oz bags of dark chocolate chips (or whatever chocolate you choose)
- A large baking sheet lined with parchment paper
What to do:
Wash and dry balloons. Blow them up to the desired sized. Keep in mind that the size of the balloon determines the size of the bowl. I did mine about 6-8 inches.
Melt 1 1/2 bags of chocolate. If you use the microwave, be sure to mix every 30 seconds.
Gently press the balloon down into the chocolate. Move the balloon in a circular motion until you reach the desired height on the balloon.
Immediately dip your balloon in sprinkles. Rotate to cover all the chocolate. Place on lined baking sheet.
Once you have dipped all your balloons, freeze for 20 minutes.
Once the chocolate has set, remove from freezer. Pop all balloons using a thumb tack or other small object.
Gently remove balloon from bowl.
Keep bowls in freezer until you are ready to use them.
Smile at how easy it was to make these and how impressive they are to look at!
I hope you have a blast making these for or with your kids!
