Fall Tree Handprint Craft

Fall is the kick off to my favorite time of year. The leaves start to change color, the air becomes cooler and the holidays are right around the corner. Celebrate the beginning of Fall with this cute keepsake Fall Tree Handprint Craft! It will be the perfect addition to your family’s fall decor. My girls love handprint crafts and had so much fun making their fall tree!

What you need:

White poster board 20″ x 30″
Paint: Brown, Red, Yellow, Orange
Paint Brush

What to do:

Start by painting your child’s hand and part of their arm brown. Be sure to paint on enough to cover the entire surface, but not so much that it’s dripping.

Make a hand and arm print on the paper.

Draw lines to make a trunk and let your child paint it in.

Once your tree is trunk is painted be sure to let to let it completely dry prior to moving on to the next step.

Have your child use their fingers to make the ” leaves” with the red, yellow, and orange paint. There is no right or wrong way to do this, so let them go to town. Once they are finished, let dry completely.

This craft is so easy and so much fun! I had my girls trees laminated at Staples so that we can pull them out year after year.

Happy Fall Friends!
